Rimmel London Nail Rescue

Ahoy there, ok so today I shall be writing a little review for you guys.

Let me start by telling you my "nail history", I could NEVER EVER grow my nails, literally they would just snap, peel, be all bendy and floppy and give up on life at the thought of them ever growing past the end of my finger.
I had resigned myself to this until I found a treatment package from Nails Inc, which was designed for weak and peely nails. It wasn't cheap at £25 but I thought I would give it a try, and yes to a certain extent it worked and made my nails feel a little more strong.

However if you didn't use their products continually I found my nails would just end up back at their initial state ( and it wasn't a pretty one).

So I decided to just try and keep them in the best of condition I could in their short form, cuticle oils and the likes. Until my friend mentioned this little beauty and told me she had heard very good things about the miracles it worked. I went out and picked it up from my local Superdrug, I believe it was £4.49 but there was a 3 for 2 offer on which made it a little cheaper in the grand scheme of things.

Now honestly this stuff is amazing!

It claims to give you "longer, stronger, harder ( I couldn't help but sing daftpunk whilst typing this) and more resilient nails in two weeks. Reduces chipping and splitting". " First week, day 1, apply one coat, day 2 apply a second coat. On day 7 remove the product. Repeat this on the second week. The treatment will be completed after 14 days" and this my friends is what I did.

I gave myself a little manicure using a 3 way buffer first, then applied a little cuticle oil to protect my cuticles ( it does mention to do this when using the product), I then followed the above instructions, however I did then put a coloured nail polish on top, as I rarely like to leave my nails naked.
Even after a week I could feel the difference, my nails became so hard and strong I really couldn't believe it. After two weeks they were even better, and the results were far more noticeable than the Nails Inc treatment which is 4 times more expensive. I gave my nails a little rest from the product and they just continued the grow and be strong :)

Now I use this every time I paint my nails which is pretty much once a week. I use it as a base coat, then a top coat (I am unsure if using it as a topcoat even allows it to treat the nails but it is just a nice clear polish so I can't resist).
The only issue I now have with my nails is I have to file them so much as they are getting very long very quickly, but I shan't complain about that!
This has to be my favorite nail related item of all time. It sounds so corny but has changed the life of my nails completely. They haven't snapped or bent once since I started using this, I shall be repurchasing as long as Rimmel keep making it.
Hope this helps you guys.
Stay Classy
